Tips for working with Clear Lighting and Electrical Design

Whenever possible, ClearLED chooses electronic transmission rather than expending your fees on paper documents. To ensure the best possible service, we suggest the following to enhance your design experience.

1.  Create a master folder for electronic documents that you receive from us regarding your project. You may wish to have sub-folders for items such as email correspondence, photos, documents and plans.

2.  Ensure you have a computer and software that has the capability to download and save attachments such as pdf, jpeg, EXCEL and WORD.

3.  Let us know if you have a dial-up connection and we will “zip” the files to reduce download time. Drawing and photo files can be quite large, so a high-speed connection is recommended.

4.  To view the drawings, and especially when utilizing our live drafting sessions, a 20 inch monitor is recommended.  For on-line meetings, we utilize GoToMeeting.com with a telephone connection for voice communication.

5.  At the appropriate time in the design process, ClearLED will email full-size documents to a FedEx Kinko’s or other business services provider of your choice for printing on plan-size sheets. Alternatively, you may specify overnight shipment of full-size documents for an additional charge.

Clear Lighting and Electrical Design is always available to

assist you with your interaction with us in any way possible.

We want your design experience to be a pleasant one –

and the design to give you enjoyment for many years to come!
